Roasted Garlic

A simple recipe to enjoy on a fresh, warm bread.

INGREDIENTS

1 head of garlic
1 Tbs olive oil
fresh herbs such as rosemary or thyme (optional)

PREPARATION

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Slice off top of garlic head to expose each clove.
On a baking sheet, place a large enough piece of foil to wrap garlic head.
Drizzle olive oil over top of garlic head and wrap with the foil.
Bake for 40 minutes or until soft and slightly golden.
Let cool, gently squeeze roasted garlic onto sliced bread, spread and enjoy!

**This can also be done in a clay baking dish (eliminate foil if using clay pot)
