You can also enjoy shopping in local craft shops and cultural activities for children and adults of all ages.

This spacious and comfortable hotel complex is located in the heart of the Leukerbad village square. It consists of three historical buildings: Hotel “Le Grand Bain”, “Maison Blanche” and “Hotel de France”. The hotel cluster is adjacent to the modern Spa, Medical and Shopping Complex, the “Walliser Alpentherme & Spa Leukerbad”.

The main hotel building, “Le Grand Bain”, is the heart of the hotel cluster and houses the central reception, lobby bar and hotel baths. The hotel Spa and fitness facilities include indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna and steam room, an indoor thermal grotto bath, as well as outdoor tennis courts. You can also enjoy the spacious garden near the hotel.

Alongside “Le Grand Bain”, lies “Maison Blanche”, which was constructed in 1645 and holds the title of the oldest hotel building in Leukerbad.

Just across the charming village square, opposite “Le Grand Bain” is the “Hotel de France”, built in 1845 and housing the the “Sacre Bon” Restaurant.

The three hotel buildings and the Walliser Alpentherme & Spa Leukerbad are linked by an underground matrix of walkways, which allow guests to travel freely between hotel areas in warmth and comfort regardless of the outside weather conditions.

Each hotel features a design and architecture linked to a distinct period, most rooms are unique and all rooms offer panoramic views of the surrounding mountain peaks, with some even offering views of the picturesque village of Leukerbad and its baths.

Le Grand Bain Spa boasts its very own thermal springs. The waters, also part of the Walliser Alpentherme & Spa Leukerbad, have been renowned since the Middle Ages for their ability to heal, calm and restore the body’s balance and health. The thermal waters of Leukerbad originate from a single source located 500 meters below sea level and take 40 years to travel to the surface. For hundreds of years Leukerbad has been blessed with a daily flow of 3.9 million litres at a constant temperature of 51 degrees Celsius.

The relaxing pure Alpine mountain air, combined with the powerfully healing natural thermal waters are distinctive features of the Leukerbad resort. The guests enjoy free access to the indoor and outdoor pools with thermal water and Alpine sauna, located within The Grand Bain Hotel complex. Hotel guests will also enjoy special discounted rates for the cost of entry and treatments at the Walliser Alpentherme & Spa Leukerbad.
